Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fresh Strategies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the APG QBO Analysis application (the "Application"), a budget-versus-actual reporting tool that connects to QuickBooks Online.
Who this Application is for
The Application is an internal business tool intended solely for authorized staff of American Pistachio Growers and Fresh Strategies LLC. It is not offered to the general public, and accounts are created and managed on an invitation basis.
Information we collect
- Account information. When an account is created, we store the user's email address and a securely hashed password used to sign in.
- QuickBooks Online data. With your authorization, the Application connects to QuickBooks Online using Intuit's OAuth 2.0 and retrieves accounting data on a read-only basis. This includes the chart of accounts, budgets, and general-ledger transaction detail (including transaction dates, amounts, document numbers, customer or vendor names, and line memos). The Application does not write to, modify, or delete any data in QuickBooks Online.
- Connection tokens. We store the OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the connection to QuickBooks Online on your behalf.
How we use information
Information is used only to provide the Application's core function: presenting budget-versus-actual reporting and account-level drill-down to authorized users. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent any information to third parties.
How information is stored and protected
- Data is hosted in Microsoft Azure in the United States (West US 2 region).
- Application data is stored in Azure SQL Database, and connections are encrypted in transit. Sensitive credentials are held in Azure Key Vault.
- Access to the Application requires authentication, and users see only the accounts they have been granted.
Sharing and third parties
We do not share information with third parties except for the service providers that make the Application possible: Intuit Inc. (QuickBooks Online, the source of the accounting data) and Microsoft Corporation (Azure hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide the Application. Data is deleted upon request, or upon termination of the underlying engagement between Fresh Strategies LLC and the client. You may also disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time, which stops further data retrieval.
Your California privacy rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request access to or deletion of that information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
